Fr. Guillermo Carmona
Argentinean. He belongs to the Founding Generation of the Schoenstatt Fathers in Argentina. He was Director of the Schoenstatt Movement in Argentina and he is the National Director of the Schoenstatt Rosary Campaign. He is a prolific author of books about Schoenstatt related to the pedagogy, theology, and spirituality of Father Kentenich. He is president of the Centro Pedagógico José Kentenich, he presents conferences in different parts of the world, and he is a promoter of communication in Schoenstatt.
Chilean, married, one son. Graduate in Audiovisual Communication, he obtained a Masters in Digital TV in Brighton, England and a MBA in the same country. He worked for 12 years at Channel 13 in Chile first as a producer and program director and then in charge of Innovation and Development Management, where they were pioneers in Chile of online streaming and multiplatform development (TV, Radio, Web and Cable). Since a year ago, he has led the "Andes Media" project of the University of Andes, that will establish an open TV channel and that will enhance the multiplatform cultural contents. He coordinated the Communication Committee at the Schoenstatt Leadership Congress in Chile, 2010.
Fr. Rafael Fernández
Chilean. He belongs to the Founding Generation of Schoenstatt Fathers of Chile and he is the founder of Editorial Patris of Chile. He is the author of many books based on the pedagogy, psychology, spirituality, ascetics, and theology of Father Kentenich. He is the adviser of the Movement in different countries. Benjamín Paz Vermal
Argentinean. He belongs to the Schoenstatt Movement. Consultant in DOG Communication, Madrid, where he works in the development and establishing communication strategies for different brands. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he has a degree in Business Administration, and he is doing post-graduate studies in Institutional and Political Communication at the University Carlos III in Spain. He was one of four team leaders of Community Managers of World Youth Day Madrid 2011, which coordinated the task of 60 people, generating content and initiatives in the pre-stage, and then transmitted the event throughout the world, in 21 languages through the social networks. Chilean. Belongs to the Schoenstatt Fathers. He has a degree in Theology from the University of Münster, Germany and he obtained a Ph.D. suma cum laude in Communications from Complutense University of Madrid. He is columnist for different media, such as Las Últimas Noticias, Diario Financiero, Publimetro, La Tercera, El Mercurio, Radio Chilena and Catholic.Net. He is a professor of Fundamental Theology and Literature at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is Chaplain of the Catholic University of Chile.
Sr. M. Nilza P. da Silva
Sr. M. Nilza belongs to the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary, Province of Atibaia, Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has a degree in journalism from the Catholic University of Parana, Brazil, and a Master in Philosophy of Language. She investigated the dialogues of electronic forums and their potential to form strong opinions. She is currently researching Father Kentenich as a model of the use and control of the media. She is a communication adviser for her province, is responsible for the site www.maeperegrina.org.br and serves on the Editorial Team of Tabor Pages, the magazine of the Schoenstatt Movement in Brazil.
Juan Carlos Pisano
Argentinean. Married to María Inés Casalá. He has edited the newspaper Dialogo since 1992; he has been in charge of the comment page of the weekly newspaper El Domingo since 1985; he has been the co-director and creative editor for the weekly newspaper La Hojita for children since 1992. He has published more than one hundred books and is the director of several magazines that have national reach. He is one of the four founders of the Center of Communication La Crujía. He has experience in news agencies, newspapers, magazines, AM and FM radio stations and TV. He was a professor and academic secretary at the Escuela Superior del Circulo de la Prensa. Along with Carlos Seoane he carries out recitals of evangelization. He recorded stories for children and adolescents, edited by San Pablo. He is vice-president of the Redmaso, Red de Magos Solidarios. He is an emcee, speaker and coordinator for encounters, seminars, and retreats in several countries of Latin America. He co-organizes since 2006 communicational projects with the Circle of Schoenstatt Communicators – Argentina.
Susana Nuin Núñez
Uruguayan. She is the Executive Secretary of the Communication Department of CELAM. She is a Doctor in Social Sciences with specialization in Communications for UNIGRE, Rome. She has a degree in Sociology from the University of Rome. She is an analyst in Social Communication, educator and investigator of the University of Buenos Aires. She is a member of the international network of communicators, NETONE, and a member of the technical team of CEDSI. She is academic coordinator of Master in DSI jointly with UPSAM, Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. She is an investigator of the CAMECO network, Catholic Media Council, about Intercultural Communication and studies of welcoming audiences. She is a member of the Directive Council of the Center of Communication La Crujía. Dr. Nuin is a member of the Focolare Movement.
Argentinean. Married to Marcela Canzian for 27 years. They have three children. He is General Manager for AICA –Catholic Information Agency of Argentina. He graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Catholic University of Argentina. In 1988, at the request of Cardinal Juan Carlos Aramburu of the Episcopal Conference of Argentina, he resigned from his professional duties to devote himself entirely to the administrative and financial restructuring of AICA. Since that time, he became the immediate associate of his father Miguel Woites, the news editor at the agency for 46 years. He was a part of the Department of Social Communication of the Bishops Conference of Argentina. Currently he participates in the Schoenstatt Circle of Communicators Argentina, co-organizing meetings for communicators.
Chilean, married to Adrian Castedo, they have three sons: Santiago, 5, Adriancito, 3, and Agustín, one year old. She has a degree in Commercial Engineering from the University of Diego Portales, and a Master in Marketing Management from the University of Gabriel Rene Moreno of Bolivia. She has lived in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia for 9 years, where she and her husband have been coordinators of the Schoenstatt Movement. Since 2008, she has produced and conducted the radio program Family, School of Love and Faith, transmitted by Catholic radio Betania: www.radiobetania.com. Presently she participates in the project Vive Schoenstatt, www.vivesch.com, the virtual radio of the Movement, whose main purpose is to train and to unite the Spanish-speaking Schoenstatters.
Bolivian. Marrried to Yara Fernández, three daughters: Emilia 11, Maria Julia 8, and Inés 4. He has a degree in Commercial Engineering from the Private University of Santa Cruz UPSA and a Master of Public and Private Projects from UAGRM of Santa Cruz. Since the year 2000, he has been the Planning and Projects Director of the Bolivian Environmental Law, an institution dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Bolivia. Since 1998, he has been a director of Radio Betania 93.9 FM in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, a lay Catholic station dedicated to evangelization: www.radiobetania.com. Since 2008, he has belonged to the Couples’ Branch of the Schoenstatt Movement in Santa Cruz. He currently participates in the project Vive Schoenstatt, the virtual radio of the movement, whose main purpose is to train and to unite the Spanish-speaking Schoenstatters.
Chilean. Married. Five children. He is Master in Development Sciences with a minor in Sociology of Communications, ILADES, in partnership with the University of Leuven, Belgium. He taught introduction to Social Sciences at the University of Santa Maria, Methodology of Social Work at the University of Chile, Marketing and Advertising at the University of Viña del Mar, Marketing Management at the School of Engineering, Advanced Marketing at the School of Business of the University of Viña del Mar, among others. He was an adviser in Marketing and Advertising for multiple companies since 1978. He was a Marketing and Communications adviser for the Municipality of Viña del Mar, a consultant and member of the organizing committee of the Festival of Viña del Mar in 1994, 1998, and 1999. He is Managing Director of Creative Staff since 1985.
Otávio Cezarini Ávila
Brazilian, 23 years old. Degree in Public Relations with a post-graduate in Communitarian Communications from the Universidade Estadual of Londrina, with a specialization in Pastoral Communications. He works as a Coordinator of Cultural Support at the Mãe de Deus School, directed by the Schoenstatt Movement, and he is currently the national secretary of the Boys’ Youth of Brazil. He is one of the organizers of the first and second Congress of Communicators of Brazil. He contributes to the web page www.jumasbrasil.com.br and he created the communication channel Jornal Engling TV of the youth: www.youtube.com/JornalEnglingTV. At the Ibiporã Boys’ Group he was responsible for communications and he was the branch leader.
Argentinean. Project Leader at Nexperience, where he develops and implements communication strategies of digital marketing. He has a degree is Social Communication and he specialized in Institutional Communication. He coordinated teams and groups of youth in the Schoenstatt Movement. He has collaborated in cultural exchanges in the exterior and he coordinated several social and communication projects.
Sr. Helena Corazza
She belongs to the congregation of the Daughters of Saint Paul; she is a journalist with a specialization in literature, has a master's degree and is working on her Doctorate in Communcation Sciences at the University of Saint Paul. She is a professor and carries out her mission in SEPAC, Pastoral Service of Communication, where she coordinates courses and advises training groups in the field of Education for Communication and Pastoral Communication. She is the author of different books and articles. She is president of Signis Brazil.
